The life of which your living,
Is just a game you play,
The aim of this game is not to finish, No last boss of which to slay,
No coins to collect no princess to save,
But just to live it like every is your last day.
I can see you asking,
How can you say that our lives a game, Surely its more serious than that,
This theory, this statement of yours is lame,
I'm not looking for belief,
Hell I'm not looking for fame,
I'm just here to play my life,
Of which to me there is one aim.
Annoying thingI woke up this morning to sound quite a shock, I rolled over turned on my lamp and checked the clock, Why am I awake it's only four o'clock, I roll over attempt to get back to my rest,Annoying thing
A decent nights sleep is all that I quest,
But yet again the sound makes me stir,
The sound is so fast it is but a blur.
I clamber from my bed pulling back my duvet,
I peer out the curtains the outside I survey,
Yet nothings apparent clear or in view, Scratching my head I secure the curtains tight,
Returning to my bed the duvet just right,
Awoken once more there it is again,
Watch It All Go ByI lay here dreaming in the grass, Just letting the overworld pass,Watch It All Go By
I stare at the heavens not making a sound, Thinking of something quite profound, The words that bubble inside my head, Are the lonely or are they dead?
I could never speak my mind,
Leaving all the past behind,
I see as the people around me adapt, But all in all I just feel trapped,
Is it too late to let them fly,
But yet I watch it all go by.
I regret the past things done and said,
Those times I wished I'd stayed in bed,
Things that would of not of come to be,
But
Time Stops for no ManI sit here as the clock strikes midnight,Time Stops for no Man
My mind drifts between the land of the night and the land of light,
My brain rehearses what has been said and what has been done,
I cannot block the words you have said to me,
Oh how I wish these thoughts were gone.
I laugh at my own foolishness,
The time is gone and the time has passed begone my sadness,
The past cannot be undone and it cannot change,
I shall live on I will embrace the pain,
I will fight these feelings my thoughts rearrange.
I lost my chance due to biding time,
